Principal Health Care of Illinois
is a regional operating company designed to meet the healthcare needs of employers domiciled in the state of Illinois. Principal Health Care offers proprietary managed care options including their new MAXIMUM CHOICE plans. The MAXIMUM CHOICE plans, generically referred to as Point of Service plans, offer each employee the choice to use HMO, PPO, and traditional benefits, decided only at the time of service.

Principal health plans are available to employers with two or more full time employees. Principals underwriting is amongst the most flexible of all carriers with small group products.
. Maternity and Fertility benefits are included in all plan designs. Principal will reimburse doctors non-network providers at 125% of Medicare
Reimbursement rates. If your doctor charges you more than 25% above what they charge a patient who is over age 65, those charges won't be covered.
